The first half of this movie was so boring, I have to admit. I understand that these scenes are important to the story, since we get to know the protagonist better through these flashbacks. The problem is that the pace is too slow. I started the movie focused, but my excitement waned as the story got more slow. Fortunately, from the middle to the end, the film improves and a lot. Once the plot is established in the present and we see how much George has dedicated his life to helping others, it is easy to empathize with him. I liked that the film reflects both the protagonist and the audience, showing that you are important in this world and that, for sure, you have already made a difference in someone's life.
PS: I laughed at the iconic scene of the woman breaking the vinyl.
