Likhan Ghosh’s review published on Letterboxd:
A story about a fading celebrity who on her 50th birthday, is sacked from her job as they seek a younger face. She soon encounters a mysterious lab that offers her a substance promising her a better version of herself.
This was one of the most entertaining films I’ve seen in a while. The tension and soundtrack were spot on, while Moore, Qualley, and Quaid really gave standout performances. While it’s full of stylishly tense scenes, I wish the ending had been explored a bit more. I feel it got a little too caught up in the gory weirdness.
Dark, bold and nasty…. and I loved every minute of it.
