I FOUND THE WOLVES !!! oh my goddddd such evil people such beautiful shots so irishman-esque. scorsese was cooking here and his level of care to the story was so sad but so real and so evident. also top 10 most evil characters of all time, ever? pacing was so fast and great and only dragged a little towards the end but the 3.5 hours went by so fast. so very meta how real people’s lives were turned into content (can literally see the pain in scorsese’s eyes that I imagine is also evoked by stupid interview questions). the french people all around me must’ve been so jarred by america but truly this was a good portrait (power of the dog would be an excellent jesse plemons companion piece). I knew this was gonna be good but I am so glad they did more than sit at that table because whewwww still speechless there is much to think about still
