Jennifer's Body concerns the plight of young Jennifer, sacrificed to Satan by an evil indie rock band, only to return as boy hungry as ever, even more so! Now, Jennifer is some demonically possessed succubus that needs to feed on teenage boys in order to maintain her beautiful appearance. Its better to look good than to eat good.
Megan Fox is an evil, empowering superhero on steroids in this role. How this movie was so badly marketed and simply cast aside in 2009 boggles the brain. Look how much we've all grown since and realized our mistakes. Jennifer's Body was not going to be ignored...even if it had to simmer for a decade until our stupid selves finally clued in.
Full of witty teen-angst fueled one liners, some surprising gore (for the horror fans) and some genuine emotional feeling, something rarely found in horror. Jennifer's Body is a dark black comedy, a fun, blood-filled revenge fantasy and simply a fantastic ride of a movie...one that is suddenly being rediscovered for what it was always meant to be seen as. Sure, the horny guy crowd was always going to see this movie (Megan Fox, duh!), that's a given. Why not also market it towards teen girls too? It's really about them.
Biggest laugh: The "lasagna with teeth" line! 🤣
