My God Florence Pugh Is A Phenomenal Actress ... one of my favourite people to see on the big screen. her line delivery, expressions, mannerisms all translate so well. and andrew garfield is so undeniably talented; the perfect leading partner who was able to share the weight of the film well. sadly i think this film is lost potential. the screenplay and direction was not able to do the story and characters justice. the jumping back and forth in time felt purposeless; it could've been such a powerful tool. overall i felt that the buildup of the film didn't pull in the audience enough. like the rink scene could've been executed more thoroughly. or the argument about the competition could've had a better script and positioning. just so much potential. i cried though!
