Stunning and mesmerising. What a beautiful story. Something attracts me to ghost stories that I can't really explain, but I'm glad I have this attraction to them. This was so finely crafted, so engaging and enthralling. Every performance was fantastic, every single one. Haley Joel Osment was outstanding and gives one of the best child performances I've ever seen. Bruce Willis takes a break from being one of the best action stars to give a stellar performance that evoked so many emotions from me. Toni Collette is immensely powerful even this early on in her career and I can see why this placed her on the map for so many people. I loved the ghosts in this because while they were sometimes frightening, they were mainly just melancholic. Truly amazing film.
