There are these unique ideas that are crammed to fit in the room, but the movie is not. The first half felt really good, but in the second half, the story goes somewhere as if they don't even care, as I'm fed up with seeing another rape-based story that literally went into the water and became a subplot that then escaped the attention of the scriptwriters—like, what the heck?

My Review of Season Two 😌🤞

In my view, season two wasn't as strong or thrilling as the first one, but it was presented okay as it sets the stage for the third season (I briefly contemplated that what all games do we might play to win the 46 billion if it occurred in Kerala 🤧)

Another movie that emphasizes a nuanced interaction of violence in its plot and what the creators aimed to express features finely crafted, hard-etched dialogues, delivering an engaging experience overall. Yet, it fails to connect with the audience, or is it the audience that falls flat with the film? Of a movie!

Saw, but for kids; they did it even before Saw was a thing.

Epilogue to Jesus Christ, who has suffered eternally. And let me tell you, I'm not joking; Jesse has faced more than Jesus in this circumstance, and witnessing it unfold on Christmas night genuinely touched me ; yet it also brought enough tears to make a grown man cry.

At times, I was amazed by how wonderful this movie turned out, as it is like a gem. I lack the perfect words to convey just how incredible this film felt: a genuine, unfiltered, and a much-needed coming-of-age story centered around a woman. Movies made by women have all of my heart 🛐.

The film was an enjoyable, whew, slightly groggy kind of experience for me. There were instances scattered throughout, and ultimately, they all blended nicely, yet I’m puzzled as to why they chose to name Anora and designate her as a side character.

A person who gets laid by the messed-up politics around him; all this time, he just wanted to get laid, but instead, he found himself deeply entangled in the chaotic politics.

Violence, violence, violence ❌ family, family, family ✅. All this effort went into lube for Ullakkachakkachakka to be scored. In the first half, which felt fast and furious, Unni Mukundan resembled Vin Diesel, which was unexpected. Overall, Korachu fast and furious, Korachu animal, and korachu Leo.

The most sexist movie I have seen this year—such a cinematic orgasm done right by Ashiq Abu and Syam Pushkaran—was what I hoped for from the Dileesh Pothan-Syam Pushkaran duo. The only thing that can heal me now is hope it will happen next year, but this was wild. Every department was on point. This is the wildfire that triumphed over the flower, not about Pushpa, guys!

The movie captivated me with its compelling narrative along with A.R. Rahman's soulful music, and I like to call it an A.R. Rahman movie indeed. Bro devoured a whole baradwaraj ragan and left no crumb, making it to two, because only he and I probably loved this movie to this extent.

I miss being that old kid who was always with his grandma, listening to her ghost-ridden stories—of course, another made-up tale of hers—and being in my home, which is my Saraswati, my Ammu's. Watching this movie kind of awakened my inner child, who is visiting his home (my grandma) during the summer vacation, and this movie smelled like her too—probably the time I had with her that I once considered old and now value the most.

Ljp's beautiful yet Lynchian treatment delves into the roots of the human psyche, as raw and brutal as it gets, tightening the rope between mind-f**ked and mind-blown in this one-of-a-kind, wake-up-in-an-aberrant, dreamlike of an movie that plays in my mind when the last minutes of my alarm ring 😭.

Pa. Ranjith's quest for gold yielded a pure gem in the form of the best cinema I have watched this year; in fact, peak. Wammala idhaan da padam 🛐

Is this a movie? The redefined taste in mass masala? This is pan masala. What do you even consider when writing the script for this film? I can't accept this as a movie. An anthology presented in a fond yet guaranteeing you a reddening watch on the topic, love. How beautifully Halitha interwove these four stories, that too, in a cute yet wholesome manner.

A decent biriyani attempt. The story itself felt like eating a biriyani. The first two acts were like taking out pepper and cinnamon out of a flawed biriyani until the third act drops—a not-so-overcooked, decent biriyani treat served righteously.

This movie is so Edgar Wright-ish that it feels like he directed a Home Alone movie that is so vibrant in both comedy and violence. It brings back the nostalgia of me watching Home Alone on Kochu TV during the Christmas times. Oh, I miss those good old days of blasting on Kochu TV with zero stress, the only time I felt like I belonged to this society 😭

Sequel to "Looking for Alaska." In fact, the director behind this movie is the same one who was behind "Looking for Alaska.

TBH, this was at the same instant the worst and best comedy ever made.

Madonna Ashwin taking the wheel to a whole new level, his take on present-day India puts a smile on our faces and, at the same time, a knock in our heads in a subtle yet powerful way that it's slowly become one; this is revolution in its sweetest form!

Once again, they proved that the endless blah...blah...blah could only fix me now, and the duration was a bit of a disappointment but was a warm hug at the end, a much-needed one :)

I could feel every single breath of " Into the Spider-Verse" in this movie, but it's scattered.

This isn't a typical cup of half-stirred tea for a coming-of-age drama. It has transcended all the stereotypes that come with making this a perfect coming-of-age drama, and those poems are still wandering in my head. If you're ready to fly, this is a great montage by Motwane.

A bored Sunday as usual, but what's special about this Sunday is DQ and his wild obsession for satirical and quirky stories, and I'm all in for that, and lucky Baskhar has all that in presented on a grand scale, and I'm completely satisfied with it—a movie that smells and feels like money 🤑. I mean, at some part it's shown its gloomy side. I mean, it's well seen; it's uneven, but the second half is something out of the box, like, man 😭. Dhanush is one lucky guy in romance. I mean, how daa, this is peak romance at it's everest—I mean peak, and this part completely shows that Dhanush is a very good writer and a director. Bro, that walk and this song playing in the background felt like a cold bleeze of an uneven story that made me pause and rethink whether I wanted to watch the balance part. Thank God for letting me resume playing an off-the-chart romance at its peak ❤.

Watching Superbad was the worst but super fun I had today on this Diwali. I had a cracking time with the cracker-dick jokes that made me laugh my ass out, and from this one, I'm winding up my Diwali celebrations.

I kind of completed watching this movie with blurred vision due to the countless amounts I cried.

This movie is K.G. George's exploration of the damned mind. You get the feeling that you are watching a fuckin Animal Planet, but it is about humans, like in a scene where Matthew's father says that there are no animals left. Only humans are left now, and not only that. Every scene has K.G. George's signature, like even the very scene when baby tries to place his blood strain on the forehead of a lady's image, like placing a sindoor on a woman's forehead in similar to what he says later, like he likes to grab out what he likes without any permissions; it's like a fuckin bible-like character study, wammala idhaan da cinema; look how capitalism massacred my boy at the end.

The only thing I missed was in this not a usual course of Amal Neerad movies, but a good attempt at psychological thriller stands out in his stylish making, Fafa Kku Oru Vediyekkilum Vekkyan Kodukkayirunnu. Overall, I loved the fun offered by this movie. Pinne Ariyallo Amal Neeradinte Padam Aahnu, and that's the main hype around this movie, which was 100% delivered for me. An Amal Neerad film is my kind of bible from now on.
