this movie was so so beautiful and became an instant favourite oh my gosh, I cried multiple times it was just incredible
the animation was just amazing. The woodland backgrounds were stunning and the animals all were so adorable, so realistic in their movement but still stylised. I just can't say enough how good this animation is
and the story,,,,,wow. like how am I not meant to cry at an emotionless robot raising a baby goose and learning to love through becoming a mother like I'm going to cry thinking about it
I loved all the characters, and all the voice acting was so good and heartfelt. Lupita Nyong'o is one of my fave actresses, she just excels in any role she's in, she's in so many of my fave movies!
my only real complaint is that I feel Roz's transition from emotionless to sentient felt slightly rushed and mainly happened off screen or in time jumps. I wish we saw more slowly the transition of her becoming more human and emotional, but I get this is a kids film it can't be tooo long
but yea 1000/10 I adore this film I plan to watch it much many more times
