🎶 City of stars are you shining just for me? 🎶
For someone like me, not fond of musical films, this was big and amazing surprise 🥰. WOW
Yeah, La La Land really changed the course of romantic films, and charted its own path between all those romantic-comedies films. Far from the quality in the direction and design.. etc. I am one of those that this end gave them another feeling, a feeling of happiness and joy despite those tears in my eyes. [ SPOILERS ] That smile said that everything was fine and expressed how grateful they are to each other, and how grateful for their love that led them to what they are become.. That end is one of the most beautiful endings. And definitely raised the film to a level I hadn't expected at all.
I don't have much to add, everything else was pure creativity. the costumes, jazz music, great songs, the fun atmosphere, and the camera angles were all amazing. I liked that vitality in jazz or other music and its harmonization with the story as a whole, during moments of optimism, conflict or romance, as well as the movement between seasons and times was wonderful. Damien Chazelle's symphony, delighted me audibly and visually ♥
