Someone told me this was good. I think that person just didn’t really understand what it means to say a Francis Ford Coppola movie is “good.” This is not a good Francis Ford Coppola movie. It’s not a terrible movie, but even setting aside the godhead talents that its director once commanded, it’s pretty basic, fairly obvious, and very, very formulaic. People shouldn’t walk around town calling this a good Francis Ford Coppola movie, is all I’m saying.
