I think this might not have worked so well if Ingrid Bergman didn’t have such mad chemistry. The plot has a lot going for it but she’s used as a pawn or a decoy or whatever it’s called particularly when she’s not really an official agent.
That said when Grant defends the kind of woman she is not playing it safe it does my heart good.
Really wasn’t everyone in love with Ingrid Bergman?
