My kind of horror movie. Bates is absolute perfection. She knows how to hit all the marks goes far without going so overboard . A pitch perfect performance. Her quiet moments are just as effective.
James Cann had the difficult task of playing opposite Bates and not being completely overshadowed he strikes a balance of anger, fear and frustration but staying calm and strategic to make it out alive. He becomes more real as the story develops and not just the object Annie views him as.
