This is one I didn’t understand the hype about. I think watching again with others helped. The horrible things that happened and yet it’s so ridiculous you can’t stop laughing. The writing and the acting despite the absurd premise completely sells it. It’s now one I view regularly it’s an amazingly easy watch.
I also have to give a shoutout for the stunning cinematography. This one of the films that improves on repeated viewings .
Also pregnant or not it’s always good to see a woman enjoying her food in a film . It doesn’t happen often enough. ( Julie and Julia another one that comes to mind ).
