Jimbo without the Jet-Set’s review published on Letterboxd:
Uwe Boll, the king of shit video game adaptations, is no more. Long live King Eli I.
Whatever soulless pencil pushing accountant OK’d this film needs to be tarred and feathered and exiled from Hollywood. The game is rated 18 for extreme violence. The film is rated 12A. And they got the most popular director of ultra-violent bloody flicks to direct It!
One star for the cast. One for the design. Zero for everything else. I hope it bombs. But 12 year olds will love it. Too bad they can’t buy the games yet! 🤷♂️
