I'm SO fucking happy I finally watched this movie I have so much to say about it.
first, I'm glad I listened to the soundtrack as many times as I did before the movie. It added something to it that I can't really describe, like an understanding of his appreciation for each song.
second, the fucking gunshots in sync with the music!!! I went in knowing it was gonna happen and I was NOT disappointed. It was my favorite.
I feel like every actor really put themselves in their character. I loved darling and buddy and didnt expect either of them to have the big parts they did. Although, it was like every character had great development EXCEPT lily james. It's like she was there to exist as a romance aspect and while it was very adorable, it was rushed. But there was literally nothing else wrong with the movie. It was chaotic in the right parts, sentimental and action packed. I wasn't expecting it to go down the way it did or for baby to step out of expectations the way he did. I loved joe and the authenticity of his role. The fight choreography wasn't nearly as good as the driving, but being a movie about a driver I didn't expect it to be. Also I guess I can say I don't dislike ansel as much now; I don't really know why I did in the first place but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I absolutely adored this movie it was definitely style over substance and it was everything I wanted it to be. It made my night!!! I'm sorry I'm rambling!!!
