La La Land 2016

★★★★★ Liked

This film has a special place in my heart, and always will. La La Land is what I want life to be like. Soulful, joyous, filled with dance numbers which feature John Legend.

It's the little moments in life that are special, and La La Land proves that. From its dizzying (in a good way) cinematography, to it's grounded performances from Stone and Going, La La Land just gets it

Gets the whole dream vs reality scenario, gets that relationships are hard things to build, gets that music saves everybody at some point. La La Land is the definition of dream vs reality

For that reason La La Land, is in my top 5
