boring and disappointing is how i’d describe this series turned movie. it’s literally just a movie, with almost nothing redeemable. the new characters are so cliché, the animation looks good, the songs are decent but not catchy, and overall it’s dull, though visually stunning

i hope that if they make a third one (which is almost certain) they do it right and not as simplistic as this. and we also already know who’s NOT competing during awards season lol
