Mia Goth is so fucking good. Some people have "it". She carries MaXXXine which ends up being a fun thriller that's surprisingly short on the horror front. I don't quite get why the West/Goth trilogy has been such a cultural phenomenon. I think audiences are starved for horror that feels well-crafted and rejects the made-for-streaming aesthetic. While I don't quite love this trilogy as much as some I do love its commitment to character-driven horror that looks fantastic.
