- ̗̀ juliette ̖́-’s review published on Letterboxd:
Those who know me know I am not one for the superhero genre. For whatever reason, something about its style and its conventions, have never managed to thoroughly engage me. (I sort of think of it in the way that some people are not ever able to thoroughly immerse themselves in the world of a musical, that’s me with supheroes I guess.) Even the big MARVEL/DC films I’ve liked and found genuinely worthwhile and important, like Black Panther and Wonder Woman, I’ve always felt a slight disconnect from in spite of my admiration. But this film is so wonderful, visceral, and unable to be denied. I felt wholly at the mercy of every second. And I loved it.
