Christopher Nolan delivers arguably one of the greatest films ever to be shown on the big screen! The fact that he recreated the trinity test without any CGI still just blows my mind!
So many great performances from John Hartnett, Tom Conti, Alden Ehrenreich, Dane DeHaan & Emily Blunt! Matt Damon steals the show in practically every scene he was in! He was more than just the comedic relief but he’s role was so big and was fantastic. Robert Downey Jr gives his best performance outside of his iconic Tony Stark character. Easily the front runner for Best Supporting Actor! Last but certainly not least is Cillian Murphy as the man this movie was solely built upon. Front runner for Best Actor, finally got his shot at a lead role and knocked it out of the park!
The only flaw I have with this movie was the awkward 2 sex scene. I’m not gonna go into to much detail about it but I understand the history between Oppenheimer and Tatlock was extremely important to the story but was that 2nd sex scene really necessary?
This film will go down as one of the greatest films to be released in theaters, my front runner for Movie of the Year.
