Paint Drying 2016

You guys won't believe what the bloody hell just happened to me! I was sitting in my backyard, enjoying the 31° sun and reading a book when suddenly, four guineafowls landed right in front of me. At first, I thought it was funny, you know? Just some quirky, goofy birds hanging out. But then they started marching toward me, and one of them pecked at my bloody book!

I jumped up, and my dog, who had been lounging nearby, looked completely confused and did nothing, like he couldn’t believe his eyes. I swear he was thinking, "tf is going on here?"

In a panic, I started waving my arms to shoo them away. It looked like that scene from Jurassic World where the Chris Pratt holds off the dinosaurs. I must have looked flipping ridiculous. Hopefully, my neighbors didn't see. I then grabbed my garden hose and sprayed a little mist in their direction.

It worked. The guineafowls decided they’d had enough of bullying me and scampered back to the fence. I collapsed back into my chair, totally bewildered. You can never be safe out there. Even these birds are your opps!

I had to share this story somewhere and I thought this would be a good outlet for some reason 😭😂
