The Office Retrospective

The Office Retrospective

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

This review may contain spoilers.

This is gonna be (PROBABLY) my longest review.

The Office is one of my favourite shows and it’s actually better than the UK original. It’s one of the most quotable shows ever and one of the best.

Here’s a description of my thoughts of each season of the show:

Season 1: season 1 isn’t one of The Office’s best seasons but it’s where it was trying to find its footing. It’s an example of how far this show has come and Michael’s hair is a cursed image.

Season 2: this is actually my 2nd favourite season behind season 4. Season 2 was a completely different show from the UK one but that’s what’s better. This season is one of the best in tv history it’s features some of the best episodes in the entire show.

Season 3: season 3 is a bit of different season because after the events of season 2 when Jim kisses Pam Jim goes and works at the Stanford branch. But then the Stanford branch closes and all the employees move there with a new character who’s in it until the finale Andy Bernard. This season again has some of the best episodes in the entire show like The Convict, The Return, A Benihana Christmas and more.

Season 4: season 4 is one of the best seasons in tv history. It’s a phenomenal season of brilliant episodes and phenomenal comedy. It has some of the best episodes in the entire show like Goodbye, Toby and Branch Wars. And it also introduces Holly who would then become Michael’s Wife.

Season 5: season 5 features my favourite episode of The Office and one of the best episodes of tv ever Stress Relief. Stress Relief is a meticulously crafted and genius episode full of phenomenal comedy. The crew knew they would be getting new viewers because this aired after The Super Bowl so they came up with this masterclass in comedy.

Season 6: season 6 has some of the best episodes of the entire show including the most awkwardest you know Scott’s Tots. Scott’s Tots is the darkest episode of The Office. And features Jim and Pam’s wedding which is top 5 Office episodes.

Season 7: season 7 is where it started to drop in quality not as bad as it would. This season is Michael’s last season and That episode Goodbye, Michael was so sad but his goodbye was so heartfelt.

Season 8: season 8 is the worst season of The Office. This was pure trash there wasn’t anything worth talking about here. This season infuriated me and we all know Michael Scott can’t be replaced.

Season 9: season 9 is so bad. The storylines are awful they have a storyline where Jim and Pam have relationship problems that’s just hard to watch we watch Ten Office to feel good. Also indicating something between the cameraman and Pam where the hell was that from?
And introducing 2 of the leats memorable and worst characters Clark and Peter. They even try to make another Jim and Pam in Erin and Peter but it’s not as good. And also, Andy is just a massive douchebag he’s a hypocrite he even tries to fire Peter but that wouldn’t matter as much actually because that means he would leave the show. But that finale is the perfect send off the the show and also Michael coming back was so good.

Here’s my ranking:
1. Season 4
2. Season 2
3. Season 3
4. Season 6
5. Season 5
6. Season 1
7. Season 7
8. Season 9
9. Season 8
