Incredible story that’s brought to cinematic glory by the cinematography from Roger Deakins and the performances from Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas and Sylvia Hoeks. Visually stunning film aided by its glorious colour palette, I couldn’t praise the films direction any more but the problem lies with the pacing of the film. It is long and it feels very long. Due to this, it’s not as good as it could’ve been if it was telling an easier story. I can understand why it’s like this but it’s not for me.
