So I hope to forgiven for expecting this to be something akin to ‘WALL-E’, after all, Pixar and Dreamworks have previously been known to compete with similarly themed films (A Bug’s Life/Antz, Finding Nemo/Sharktale, Madagascar/The Wild). 

This movie was something special! Everything from the incredibly beautiful animation to Lupita’s fantastic vocal performance was absolutely something to be treasured. And not gonna lie, my eyes were leaking hardcore by the time the credits rolled. Might I say, if it weren’t for ‘Inside Out 2’, ‘The Wild Robot’ is a strong contender for Best Animated Feature’ at this year’s Oscars!
