The fake Dune parody was perfect, the score, chefs kiss.
Gosling continues to be that guy. His comedic performances are all so good and he absolutely carries this movie on his back alongside his chemistry with Emily Blunt who was also really good as a cam-op to Blockbuster director within a year and a half.
It's really just all stunts and chemistry with not much else, but it wasn't trying to be anything more, so in that sense it works. I went in expecting a little more mystery to the disappearance but the film just isn't that unfortunately. But the stunt set piece at the end is so outrageous it made up for it a little.
Some people hate on Leitch but I think he's needed in the industry. Not many movies like this come out these days and when they do they're usually some streaming low-effort garbage. He's the only one that makes action comedies that come out not terrible and I think Bullet Train is underrated and will have it's day in the future.
