⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Superior (88-87)

Negatives:
-I didn't really like Gosling especially in the first act. Bland character. This also led me to believe that there is little-to-no chemistry between them.
-I found the first act as a generic story/trope.
-There were some flaws in editing, both in visuals and lip sync.

Positives:
-Emma Stone had a great performance on this movie. She deserved the oscar.
-The second was great, and the third act was even greater.
-Brilliant directing from Chazelle.
