"Spider-Man: A New Universe" bietet eine clevere unkonventionelle Geschichte, tolle Ideen, schönen Cast und einen ungewöhnlichen Animationsstil, der anstrengend sein kann. Viele Doppelkonturen, Unschärfen, Farbexplosionen und unflüssige Bilder prasseln nur so aufs Gehirn ein.Trotzdem ist der Film ein wahres Spektakel. Ein Comic auf Leinwand gemalt und noch so viel mehr. Es gibt wohl wenig vergleichbares in der Filmwelt. Allein diesen Mut muss man den Leuten bei Sony hoch anrechnen. Der Film hat mich sehr gut unterhalten, auch wenn der Kopf was dröhnt. Eine Wertung ist deshalb umso schwieriger. Die Handlung hätte sich an manchen stellen was Zeit lassen können, denn Konflikte sind durch das hohe Gesamtpacing mit einem Augenzwinkern gelöst und am Ende hätte ein bisschen weniger Farbbombe gut getan. Der Film schafft es aber im Finale die Story gut zu beenden.
Ich hatte viel Spaß, kann aber jedem verstehen, der das alles was too much findet.
