Basically an anti nuclear war documentary, showing what could actually happen if a nuclear strike actually happened. All of the story is based around the U.K. getting nuked from Russia I think? But the story was taken from real life events from Japan in world war 2 which makes this documentary even more depressing and bleak, it’s just real and this really could happen one day, if everything went wrong. Peter Watkins really does a have a key eye for highlighting real life problems and still making them relatable even today in 2021!! This documentary was made all the way back in the 1960’s and it’s mind boggling how it’s still holds up.
