noticing the devil in the details so much more on the third time. i saw the dark figure in doorways and windows and the hidden corners in ways i didn’t see the last two times which really freaked me out. it’s so genuinely done without it being thrown in your face and if you blink you’ll miss it, but if you see. you see. every time longlegs opens his mouth my hair raises on my arms and legs in such an unnerving way. kiernan shipka is brilliant in her scene that really leaves you freaked out from that peachy tone she speaks in. maika’s shortness of breath in moments throughout the movie persuades you to feel out of breath as well with the anxiety inducing terrors she experiences. truly one of the creepiest movies i’ve truly ever seen i love it so much
