Watched ‘65’ this morning, and honestly, it was just decent. Adam Driver was solid, though far from his best, but he still managed to carry it. The story itself is fine, nothing overly complex or intricate; spaceship crashes on a strange planet, and it’s all pretty straightforward from there. The pacing felt a bit rushed, and there wasn’t much depth to dig into, but it did what it set out to do.
The dinosaurs were okay, though they had a bit of a ‘Jurassic Park’ vibe with a few noticeable tweaks here and there. Overall, it’s not a terrible film by any stretch; something easy to throw on in the background while you’re doing other things. You won’t miss much, and you won’t need to overthink it either. Nothing groundbreaking, but it’s serviceable. 2.5/5.
