9 Blu Ray (MUBI) Rewatch
Phenomenal film, a tactile, emotive, ambiguous commentary on memory and nostalgia that is also highly relatable on so many levels. The "Under Pressure" sequence may perhaps be the best of any film in the last decade-- a miracle of editing, score, sound design, acting and cinematography that packs such an intense emotional wallop. Despite all of the uncertainties facing the British film industry at the moment, the fact that we have Charlotte Wells gives me hope for the future.
