I thought it couldn’t be done. I thought we had reached a point in late stage capitalism where all sequels, prequels and reboots were bound to be soulless, heartless cash grabs. BUT THEN Goth Funcle Tim Burton shows up with THIS beauty and reminds us that sometimes … old ideas still have life in them worth resurrecting.
It was also really refreshing to see an old cast reunite not only for the pay cheque but because the FILM IS ACTUALLY GOOD!
