I know it’s funny to laugh at how bad and boinkers Shyamalan's last movies have been, but frankly it is upsetting, because in every one of them there a few moments of excellent filmmaking and actually good storytelling.

Then he just splatters them all over with shitty dialogue and a rough cut of a script and fucks it all up.

He knows he isn’t what people in '99 called the next big director, but damn it, that doesn’t mean he has to make such mediocre movies
