I just don’t like the Saw franchise. It’s unnecessarily gross and violent for the most part and serves to only put people in situations which will inflict the most amount of suffering on them, held together by a loose plot at best. Tobin Bell is well cast and aptly narcissistic with his character of Jigsaw but other than his performance there isn’t anything remotely interesting in this film. The editing was making me nauseous which no other film has ever achieved so props for that I guess. But yeah these films just aren’t for me.
