I expected it to be good, but wow holy shit this might be the best animated film DreamWorks has made. The environment design and lighting are just spectacular. The soundtrack and score are also beautiful. Its got deep resonant themes about parenting and found family. The Wild Robot has got everything you want in an exceptional animated film. A lot better than anything Disneys put out in recent years.
