Odd, random, disconnected, poorly-written crap...until the last 20 minutes. I thought we could trust original Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis with this new Halloween trilogy. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt after the dumpster fire that was HALLOWEEN KILLS (2021). At least I wasn't completely in the wrong to do so.
At first nothing made sense or seemed important to Laurie & Michael's story up until the end and even then it was over too quickly. I say we let the franchise finally die and we start a brand new one, a town full of Halloween spectacle and a sparkly new serial killer who hunts babysitters for fun on Halloween night, like the original one but this time with good writing and directing at the helm.
