Broadcast News is a finely crafted relationship drama that’s funny, emotional and perfectly paced. There isn’t an ounce of fat on the movie and it’s an absolute joy to watch.

Holly Hunter is incredible as the highly motivated and headstrong Jane Craig and the exuberance and commitment she brings to the role is captivating to watch. The love triangle she finds herself in with Nemo’s dad and General Ross makes for great viewing as she struggles with her desire and how far she can give up on her journalistic integrity in the process.
