Oh man I am fucking pissed like I genuinely hate this film with a passion it’s crazy. This is the rustler burger of a sequel just cheap and awful like Jesus Christ this was true garbage. That first gladiator to me is a special movie one of my favourites and even in my top 10 with that movie it has characters you care about, emotion and terrific performances with this you got 0 of that. Paul Mescal was absolutely awful idk why or how he gets work truly bad actor like when he’s meant to be angry he just looks constipated, same goes with those two emperor twins they were just absolutely goofy when they shouldn’t have been. The fights were decent I’ll give this film that and the score is amazing too especially the song at the end which fans will be all over like me. Denzel wasn’t good either and the twist with his character was unneeded and extremely lazy. Overall this is true garbage that takes everything good about that original masterpiece and takes a poop all over, fuck you Ridley and thanks ruining one of my favourite movies ever.
