i went to college in washington and saw the actual school 10 Things I Hate About You was shot at, which means that yes, it is a real school. however, the argument that a school like that doesn’t exist is still valid because:
- cat showed her boobs to a teacher in front of MULTIPLE STUDENTS
- cameron and michael gave flyers on school grounds that said, in like size 50 font, FREE BEER
- patrick was smoking during school hours in the middle of a field DURING A PE CLASS
- the guidance counselor openly writes erotica novels
- bianca SHOT A TEACHER WITH AN ARROW DURING A (unrelated to the prior incident) PE CLASS YET GOT IN LITERALLY NO TROUBLE
- and a band with all of their sound equipment + instruments somehow managed to get on the roof of a building constRUCTED IN THE 1890S
tho u can bet your butt I laughed, loved, and enjoyed each of these moments despite it all because i’m STILL a 90s kid at heart
