i already know this is controversial, this is one of the most popular films right now and people love it, but personally i didn’t really like it. the use of practical effects and actual direction and use of framing are incredible, the editing is fantastically done, and the concept is unique for sure but i think what it has to say about ageism in hollywood and the commodification of women in media falls a little flat for me personally, i feel like the movie really started to drag on and it truly started to lose me. i understand the love and praise for this, but i personally don’t see the vision
