i can handle bad movies, bad horror movies even. what i can’t handle is bad movies that are also boring. this has to be the longest hour and a half of my life ever. mediocre acting with bland special effects and in the end it feels like a really bad Logan (2017) ripoff
i’m not sure if the book is well praised, or the original movie even, but Firestarter is one of the most bland movies ive ever seen. i don’t actively hate it, i actually really enjoyed the soundtrack made by the legend that is John Carpenter and his son, but not even that can redeem this. it’s just another movie in the long list of eh Stephen King adaptations
