this really was as good as everyone says it is

the biggest takeaway for me was obviously the music. like, holy shit. cynthia erivo has probably the most powerful voice I’ve ever heard. I could’ve sworn I started floating whenever she sang

but ariana grande blew me away. she just dove right into the character of glinda. she was so charming, so elegant and so beautiful. she absolutely killed it

I legit could’ve stayed for another two and a half hours if it meant watching part 2, but I guess I can wait a year dammit
