Left feeling kind of conflicted here. On one hand there’s a lot of things about musicals that are just flat out ridiculous. On the other hand, it’s an entirely different form of entertainment and should be viewed as such. The musical numbers and choreography in Wicked are just so infectious and when played out on those beautiful set pieces it’s almost impossible not to enjoy. For those of us who haven’t seen the Broadway show however, it is unfortunate how much the trailers gave away about the story.
