Yep, 5 stars on rewatch, 3 out of 3 Damien Chazzelle films at a 5 for me and I love that.
Have no idea which is truly his best tho out of whiplash and La la land, maybe whiplash just edges it, but they are both absolutely perfect.
The music, the use of colour in sad and happy scenes, Emma stone and Goslings performances god I love this film. 9.3/10
