giving robert eggers the kind of budget he got on this movie was such a good investment, his style of directing that we saw in lighthouse and the witch wasn’t muffled by the sheer size of this story, and although the movie seems grander in scale it never loses focus of the journey that amleth sees through
this movie however wouldn’t be as impactful if alexander skarsgard wasn’t a fucking behemoth of a man
