Fair play to ya Robert Eggers on making a period piece with only a 4 million and to be able to make this a really great horror film. After watching the nosferatu trailer, I loved it, and now I want to watch all of Robert Eggers films. For his first full-length film, it is amazing at how rich the storytelling is with a brilliant cast who elevates the script to another level. Anya Taylor Joy was great, and so was Ralph Ineson. Both were amazing. The Salem witch trials have always peaked my interest in horror, and with this taken place in that time period, it fully utilises those stories to tell this story about this family. I really loved this, A24 is a great studio, and I am thankful for them giving the director a chance. I loved the ending so dark, so eery yet awesome but sad. All at the same time. This was truly amazing. Go watch it. I loved the witch.
