On this weekend, we’ve reached 50 followers on Letterboxd! 🥳 and as a way to celebrate, I wrote this (pretty long) text.
First of all, I wanna thank you so much for it. I know this number is really small, especially if we compare to other bigger accounts… but for me it is not at all!
🎞 And if you know me, it’s no secret I love cinema, I had the habit of watching many films as a child (thanks to Disney Junior, which was always showing movies at 5 pm, and other channels on TV that only showed films in their programming), but from 2018/2019, I wasn’t seeing movies on that same frequency (school getting more difficult, gaining interest in music, and other factors). However, I decided to change it in 2023, as I love watching films (especially with my dad), going to the movie theaters and commenting about Cinema with other people! 🎥 Last year I watched over 20 movies (excluding shows and short movies), and my goal for 2024 was watching 52 films (an average of one for each week), and I am proud to say I’ve already achieved my goal! 🥹
I absolute love reading your reviews (comedic phrases or serious ones), discovering your tastes for cinema and especially interacting with you on the comments session; talking about the movie you’ve seen, joking and even commenting on other stuff like music! 🥰
I know I have MANY delayed reviews 💀 but I’m gonna try posting them during the next few days (and I will keep updating you, but I recommend checking my profile to be sure 😉)
