One of the better movies of the year simply because it’s understands what it needs to be from its minimal use of exposition, which is much more nuanced than the book’s over defining and ridiculous narration. This in turn causes it to also be way more personally affectionate than the book constantly tried to be too. As well as near perfect camerawork for its scale considering the amount of breath taking shots that practically materialise out of thin air. Indoor lighting brings down the colouring a bit, by acting like it was made in some indie boys bedroom unfortunately.
