Sorry to be well controversial, but I think 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' is even better than the first one. I mean, I think they're both very good films, more or less even, but what makes me prefer this is that absolutely mental church sequence - it's the maddest thing ever, I loved it, brilliant. Exactly what I want out of this type of film. Visually lovely too, thought the makeup was fab, and can't knock the production/costume design. VFX is a bit shoddy and the boyfriend plotline is crap, but hey, can't win 'em all. Also, Willem Dafoe is here, he makes up for all the flaws! Would recommend.
