Oh my how I love this movie! One of my favourites when it comes to animation.

I watch Nightmare every Halloween since I was 8 years old and it never looses its fascination and it represents my love for gothic horror, musicals and sometimes melancholic moments in the most extravagant way! I'm not even sure if this movie started these interests in the first place.

I saw it several times in German and in English. Both versions are brilliant, but I prefer the english one, because the fact that my favorite composer, Danny Elfman, sings as Jack Skellington himself, blew me away when I first heard it. He is so damn great! So is every single song!

I own a shirt with Jacks face on it, which I bought at a Disney store in Las Vegas. I can totally identify with his thoughtful, melancholic, sometimes naive but always passionate nature. I like wearing it.

The finale of this year's Shocktober could not be better!
